The process
Welcome to the new world of digital galleries. Online imagery has completely taken over and as this process may be foreign to many, I wanted to share the process to help future clients understand exactly what to expect when booking.
Step 1: What to consider before booking
WHAT’S THE OCCASION? Kulture Kam Photography offers lots of session types. Which one represents what you would like the most?
HOW MANY OUTFITS AND BACKDROPS/LOCATIONS? Session types differentiate by outfits, backdrop/location amount, as well as time and digital copies released.
WHO WILL BE APART OF YOUR SESSION? Give your photographer the opportunity to prepare correctly and accommodate you and others included in your session.
Step 2: booking
You may book on my website under the BOOKING tab. You may also submit a contact form prior to booking for help with choosing a session, add-ons, or any questions that may not be answered on the site.
When should you book? All turnaround times are listed on each session type. During busy seasons, turnaround times are subject to change. If you are booking to post on a specific date, I recommend booking your session 14-20 days prior to needing the photos.
Step 3: Photoshoot
Showing up ready for your session is highly recommended, as you may not be my only client on your shoot day. I am a punctual person and respect everyone's time. I ask that my clients do the same for me. We will take photos during the entirety of the time listed on the session you booked.
Prior to your session, you will be sent a Pinterest Posebook link to refer to during your session. Though I will still guide you, the Posebook is a way for you to get visual representation of all poses that work best for you, as you may not like certain poses given by me.
All props from prop list are provided by me for any session. Special requested props are only provided for Birthday sessions. Should you want special requested props for any other session, you must provide them yourself or choose props in add-ons for an additional fee.
Birthday props have a $50 limit. Please choose accordingly. Balloons are no longer provided by me.
step 4: proofs
Raw (unedited) copies are sent 24-48 hours after your session. Proofs will be sent to the email used in booking. Raw proofs are to NOT be posted. Raw photos being posted will result in you being banned from booking with Kulture Kam Photography.
You will create a favorites list on your gallery and select the photos for retouching. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional edits for $5 per photo. After photo selection, make sure you notify me that they have been chosen.
My turnaround time (time it takes for photos to be edited and returned) is listed on all session types.
I do not hold proofs for more than 10 days. If you have not selected your photos within 10 days of your session date, your images will no longer be available. After photos selection takes place and selected photos are edited, all unselected images are deleted and no longer accessible.
step 5: editing
Sessions are edited in the order that photos were taken. Clients that choose to pay a rush fee will automatically be moved to top priority. I extensively edit all my images to include color correction, skin smoothing, blemish removal, teeth whitening, and background cleanup. Should you need any other touch ups such as hair, makeup, body slimmings, etc. please let me know. I also offer creative edits at additional fees that can be discussed. By booking with Kulture Kam Photography, you are agreeing to cooperating with our editing style.
Step 6: gallery delivery
Once your photos are edited, the photos are yours to download. I provide digital copies only. Your gallery is available to download for 30 days, after the 30 days are up you are no longer able to access your gallery. Please do not alter edited photos, as each session is meticulously edited to satisfy each client.
